About MSA at the University of Toledo

The Muslim Students' Association at the University of Toledo is a very large organization. UT has over 700-1100 Muslim students at any one time and most or all of them call the MSA home. UT is a very diverse campus. Many of the Muslims on campus are international students sent to UT to attain degrees. They come from all over--Pakistan, India, Malaysia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Bangladesh, and all sorts of other places.

The MSA at UT is a very active organization. The Muslims Students' Association provides services and assistance to all students on campus.

The MSA was established in 1978 and is recognized as one of the most active and accomplished groups on campus. Numerous awards and honors have been received over the years.

The MSA has Friday prayers every Friday on campus in the newly built Horton International House. This dormitory even has a built-in prayer room and wudu area. Alhamdulilah, the MSA was so active back when the facility was built that the UT administration wanted to know what the MSA needed for prayer at the Horton International House.
